SWIMMERS ARE ACADEMIC STARS

The Sisters Outlaws girls swim team posted the highest grade-point average in the state among 3A schools and was awarded "Top 10" academic pins for the 3.82 combined GPA.

The Outlaws "academic all-stars" included Jamie Cundiff, Chelsea Durdan-Shaw, Hilary Hedemark, Dana Hughie, Leyah Jensen, Rachel Kemp, JulieAnna Little, Meghann Timms and Shanna Timms.

Six out of the nine ladies accomplished 4.0 during the winter season.

In a combined poll of 4A and 3A girls swim teams, the Outlaws finished second overall behind South Eugene High School, which posted a 3.9 average GPA.

The boy's team, including Scott Bulloch, Kris Clark, David Martin, Seth Perrine and Eli Pyke, finished in sixth position.
