In the Lab Problem #2 (pg WD 132 - Complete #2 - "Is Your Computer Protected ". This problem has three parts to it. Print the paper at then end of each part as required. Staple all three papers together when turning in. Thank you.

Begin in the Word section of the text starting on page WD 137- This is project 3. . Creating a resume using a wizard and a cover letter with a table. I know what you're thinking, this is going to be too much fun - and you're right!

You will each be given one envelope to print, please don't make a mistake :)

At the completion of this project you will be able to:

  • make a resume
  • use a template
  • set tab stops
  • remove formatting from text
  • write a business letter
  • use AutoText
  • create a table
  • Address and print an envelope
  • work with smart tags

Textbook

You will be learning how to cahnage your word document into a web page. Yes, I know, very fun. By the way, I put my own resume online.

Begin at page WD 203. You will need to have the project 3 resume completed - the one titled Baskerville Resume to start this lesson. Note: you will be using the single file Web page format when saving for this assignment.

We will not be publishing this assignment to the web, but you will open it up in Microsoft Explorer to make sure that it works as it should. If it does, you will get the big points.

You created your own personal resume last week. You will save it as a web page with two frames - just like yesterday. Create at least three hyperlinks in the left-hand frame (your resume will be in the right-hand frame) and give it a theme as well.
