Government - Host of the Year
- In groups of two to three, you are to
host a dinner party in which you invite:
- Locke, Hobbes, Rousseau,
Montesquieu, Jefferson, Hamilton, Lenin, and Mussolini
- You must explain why you invited the
guests and why you sat them at the particular seat at the dinner table.
(Include the diagram and explanation with the script you hand in)
- You will develop a conversation that
would take place and have the students from class act out that
conversation. (That means you must have a script for each person invited
to dinner)
- I will be looking for historical
content of the conversation as well as some creativity.
- You must seat them to ensure a happy
and interesting party.
- Each team will create a dinner
conversation around significant people or issues.
- The conversation should last at least
8 minutes but no longer than 11 minutes.
- All parts must be typed up.
- This assignment is worth 200 points
- This assignment is due by the end of
the second trimester.
- All scripts are due one week before
the dinner party. No excuses!
